Bark Collar Devices Troubleshooting
While all the bark collar devices we offer come
with warranties and great customer service, we cannot
deny the fact that some customers just don't have
the time to call up the technical support or take
the product to the shop for a check up. Some problems
may not be very complicated, can be solved without
having to go through much hassles and trouble and
that the customer himself, can already troubleshoot.
Please refer to the troubleshooting tips below for
dog bark collar problems.
My dog keeps barking
(does not respond to the Static Correction).
- Tighten the bark collar and/or trim the dog’s hair where the Contact Points touch his neck to ensure good skin contact.
- Test the collar (see “To Test the Bark Collar” section).
- Increase the Correction Mode.
- Replace the battery.
- Contact the Customer Care Center at 1-800-732-2677.
The Indicator Light keeps flashing
- Make sure the Mode Switch is not set to TEST.
- Replace the battery.
- If the light continues to flash with a new battery, contact the Customer Care Center at 1-800-732-2677.
If the dog continues to bark test the receiver by:
- Dragging the center probe across a rough surface for at least 10-12".
If receiver does not beep
- Change the battery and insure proper polarity.
- If still inoperable, call customer service.
If it beeps but dog does not heed correction
- Tighten collar
- Trimhair where probes make contact
