- Yes. The dog bark collar is designed to get the dog’s attention, not to punish him. However, the initial Static Correction may startle the dog.
Will the barking collar work for my dog?
- The bark collar devices are safe and effective for all breeds and sizes of dogs, though it may be too large for dogs under 8 pounds to wear comfortably.
Can I attach a leash to the dog bark collar?
- No. This can result in pulling the Contact Points too tightly against the pet’s neck. Attach a leash to a separate, non-metallic collar, making sure the extra collar does not put pressure on the Contact Points.

- This is highly unlikely, especially if owners follow the advice in the Training Manual. Barking is a natural behavior and a needed outlet for a dog, so they are very good at learning what situations they are allowed to bark in.

- Yes, this is possible. This is best accomplished by placing the bark collar on the dog only in those situations in which owners never want him to bark. Also, never place the dog bark collar on the dog in those situations in which owners want him to bark.
